The lantern itself was a piece of work for a client, for use in their upcoming horror game. The designs on the window panels were concepted by me in Procreate, based on Client narrative input, and then translated into 3D with 3dsMax and zBrush.
These renders are an exercise in composition and lighting, as I wanted to create more of a context for my portfolio prop renders but without sinking a tonne of time into creating bespoke temple assets. As such, I had to get creative and look at existing photography from similar real-life temples.
